About Us

Bollywood Shake LLC is a dance, media and entertainment company with an aim to promote Bollywood dance, music & entertainment across the world.

Bollywood Shake offers Indian Bollywood Dance & Fitness classes for a cultural experience full of fun and excitement.  In addition to learning some cool moves, our classes will also give you a great workout! Bollywood Shake Radio hosted by Ruchika and her team promotes Bollywood music via media. Bollywood Shake also organizes events such as the Bollywood Pageants, Bollywood parties & workshops.

Bollywood Shake was started by Ruchika Dias in 2009 because of her passion for Bollywood dance & music.  Ruchika Dias grew up in India has been trained in Indian classical music and dance. Ruchika Dias also has an MS degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA degree both from the University of Texas at Austin.

Ruchika has been featured on Houston's Fox 26 News channel, Houston's ABC13 News channel, TV-Asia Houston's Indo American newspaper, Houston's Voice of Asia newspaper, News 8 Austin's "Fit for Friday" show, KEYE/CBS's "We Are Austin" show, University of Texas's "Daily Texan" newspaper, Austin's Community Impact newspaper, "To Do Austin" magazine,
